Spiritual Guidance

Good Morning KING JESUS! Lord I just thank you for those well season Christians you have placed in my Life, especially my mom! Those Christians that have been marinating in the word of God for years, to help teach, and grow me up spiritual in the word of God. No longer am I drinking milk but I am eating at the grown folks table! LOL Meat!

When God places those well season Christians in your life, to help guide and teach you, know you are blessed!Every Christian starts as a baby Christian and needs to be taught the word of God, for even Jesus himself started his own ministry at the age of 30:

Picture this, you just learned how to swim and you sign up immediately for the swimmers Olympics. You barely learned how to float, and tread water. Naturally, of Course you would not make the team without months of training! If you want to swim for the Olympic team you must STUDY, Train and show yourself approved.

This goes the same for those who are believers in Christ, daily we continue to learn, train ourselves spiritually in the things of God! We sit under teaching from our pastors, who help equip us to finish the race that is ahead us. So when God sends you a spiritual trainer, Listen to them, because they have been in this race allot longer than us, and can gives us great tips on how to finish this race First! Also, do not forget God has left his personal trainer for you also, His Holy Spirit, speak to him daily in your heavenly Language :) Enjoy all that God has for you as you continue to be transformed into his image.

2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Proverbs 12:1
Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge,But he who hates correction is stupid.

What are you afraid of?

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

What are you afraid about? What are you going through in your life, that is to big that God can not handle? Absolutely nothing! The bible tells us that God hands are NOT shorten that he is not able  to deliver you!

Isaiah 50:2
Why, when I came, was there no man? Why, when I called, was there none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Indeed with My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink because there is no water, And die of thirst.

We don`t have to walk around in this life with fear! The bible tells us if God be for us , who can be against us!  I like to talk about a particular man in the bible named Daniel. Daniel was a man that God had given great wisdom and understanding.  He was a man that did no wrong and found great favor with the King of Babylonia  But Daniel like all people, had a few people who just did not like him, because they saw that Daniel walk with God and was a very blessed man. These men set Daniel up to take a nasty fall.
So these governors petition the King to set a decree, which stated for thirty days no one in the kingdom could worship any gods, or pray to any idol except the King ; knowing that Daniel prayed daily!

But Daniel being a righteous man, a man who trusted in GOD! Knew that nothing would come between him and worshiping the King of all Kings! Daniel went home as usual, knelt down in front of the window and prayed and was not afraid. Let`s take a look in the bible to see what happens next!

Daniel Chapter 6

Daniel in the Lions’ Den
10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
11 Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. 12And they went before the king, and spoke concerning the king’s decree: “Have you not signed a decree that every man who petitions any god or man within thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?”
The king answered and said, “The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.”
13 So they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is one of the captives[a] from Judah, does not show due regard for you, O king, or for the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”
14 And the king, when he heard these words, was greatly displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him; and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him. 15 Then these men approached the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is the law of the Medes and Persians that no decree or statute which the king establishes may be changed.”

16 So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” .

Daniel was not afraid  to continue to worship God, he was so BOLD, he prayed with his window open! Hallelujah, Hallelujah! We read on to see that Daniel was eventually thrown into the Lions` Den, but even the King had Faith in the God of Daniel! He knew that Daniel serve the one and true and living God!  The king knew that God would deliver Daniel!

Do you know this is the same God (Jesus) delivers us today? The same God who sent an angel to shut the lions` mouth!

Daniel chapter 6
The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”
21 Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! 22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.”

So whatever your afraid of , don`t be afraid! Our God delivers and our God cares. For God has not given you a spirit of fear , but of Power, Love and a SOUND MIND! Keep living for Jesus, and  keep spreading the good news of the Gospel.

God wants the Best for you!

Good  Morning, Afternoon or Evening! Where ever you are around the world, we pray that you are blessed Beyond Measures! We have  updated our site and love to hear your feedback! We also have added a prayer requests page , please feel free to add your prayers, and requests! Also remember to keep this ministry in your prayers!

God wants the best for you in your life, for his word tells us that his thoughts for us is GOOD thoughts!

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope

Today are you wandering around the wilderness? Are you satisfied with barely making it by? Are you satisfied with a job that barely pays enough to cover your bills? Well think back to the book of Exodus
Note this verse: Exodus 3:8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

God sent Moses as his spokes man to deliver a message to the Israelites, who were in bondage in Egypt. The message that God sent through the mouth of Moses was  that HE(God) would deliver them out of bondage, out of suffering, out of lack, into a land flowing with milk and honey, a Good Land! The bible tells us, that God is the same, yesterday, today and forever, never changing!

Hebrews 13:8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

The same God who heard the cries of his people, is the same God who hears the cries of the saints today!

Exodus 3:7And the LORD said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

He is the same God that parted the Red Sea! The same God that healed the sick! The same God who delivered the Israelites out of Egypt! Our God wants to place you in a land flowing with Milk and Honey! He wants you to live a life of abundance, so all can see how great is our God!

John 10:10The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

DON`T be afraid to trust God for the best in your life! Don`t be afraid to possess the promise Land! Our God never changes. What  Jesus will do for others, he will do for us,because he cares for us!
1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

He is known as the GOOD Shepherd, a Shepherd that cares for his  sheep!
John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
He is known as a God that Supplies all our needs!
Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

He is a God that never leaves the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread!
Psalm 37:25
I have been young, and now am old;Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
he is a God that  tells us that his thoughts for us is Good, and one of Hope and a Future! Will you trust God today for above and beyond and step out into that promise land!

Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

These signs shall follow those who believe!

Mark 16:17-18
The Message (MSG)
17-18"These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues, they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well."

The Bible says these signs shall follow those who Believe! Well I believe and I grasp this and take a hold of what belongs to the saints of God! I walk in the AUTHORITY that my Father has given me in his name! There is no devil in hell running freely in my home, because we belong to Jesus! There is no sickness that will bound us, or take a hold of my children, because we belong to Jesus! I have EVERY right to Rebuke sickness in his name, because my Father has given me permission! There is no POISON from the enemy that will rob me of my life, because I bless the food that I eat .

I am guided by his wisdom in what foods to stay away from, because I belong to Jesus! This Scripture belongs to ME AND MY HOUSEHOLD and EVERYONE else who wants to walk in the authority that God has Given us! Mediate on this verse, let it soak into your spirit and heart, let it bear fruits in your Life! For everything that you will do unto the Lord Jesus Christ , you shall ALWAYS Prosper!

Heavenly Father,I want to walk in all that you have given me, and lack in no area of my Life! Your word tells me that these are the signs that follow all of us, who belong to you. They shall cast out demons, They shall pray for the Sick and THEY SHALL recover, no poison shall take their life! Lord  through these hands, your Power and Might shall be shown for all the world to see ;that You Oh God are the TRUE,the ONE and the Living God! You are the ALPHA and the OMEGA, You are the Beginning and the End! There is no God like you Jesus! I ask that you refresh me Oh Lord in you! Anoint my hands to do your work, that all will see my good works and Glorify the Father in Heaven

Revelation 1:11

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Authority in His Name!

Jesus Casts Out an Unclean Spirit ( AUTHORITY)
Mark 1:21 Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught. 22 And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having AUTHORITY, and NOT as the scribes.

Authority! Jesus came in Authority the bible tells us! Jesus taught in Authority! The Bible tells us that He prayed in Authority, and he casted out demons in Authority! Now the bible tells us that same spirit that came and dwelt in our God,the Holy Spirit, the comforter, the Teacher and the POWER that is in US! Jesus said,( Now are you listen to what I am saying) JESUS said Greater works will we do in his name! Today Pray in authority! Preach like you know without a shadow of doubt that our God saves! Rebuke sickness, diseases in the Authority that Jesus has given you! For it not us, but its Jesus who moves through us. Today will you step out in faith,? Will you walk in his boldness and take Authority over every area of your life and let Jesus SHINE ?

Mark chapter 1:23 Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” 26 And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. 27 Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with AUTHORITY He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.” 28 And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee

John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father

Heavenly Father, we come Boldly and Stand Strong in the Authority that you have given us in your name! We preach in the Authority , We pray in Authority and we stand on your word  and promises that greater works will we do in your name! Lord your word tells us that you have not give us a Spirit of Fear, But a Spirit of Power, Love ,and a Sound Mind! So we walk in all that you have given us, declaring your works,in Jesus name Amen

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Loneliness, God Understands

Matthew 26:31-35Then Jesus told them, "Before the night's over, you're going to fall to pieces because of what happens to me. There is a Scripture that says,
I'll strike the shepherd; helter-skelter the sheep will be scattered. But after I am raised up, I, your Shepherd, will go ahead of you, leading the way to Galilee." 33Peter broke in, "Even if everyone else falls to pieces on account of you, I won't."

34"Don't be so sure," Jesus said. "This very night, before the rooster crows up the dawn, you will deny me three times." 35Peter protested, "Even if I had to die with you, I would never deny you." All the others said the same thing.

'

Have you ever been an in a situation where the heat has been turn up? You went through something so difficult and all those who you thought where your friends betrayed you? Turn their backs on you? And even went as far to act like you did not exist? Jesus understands! On that day when Jesus would be crucified. Where were his Disciples? Where were those he had prayed for daily?Jesus disciples were no where to be found! Even that friend who profoundly confessed" Girl I got your back", is the main one ducking and hiding when the heat gets turned up! But, there is someone who sticks closer than a brother; he is a friend when everyone else alienates you.

You see God understand the heart of a human, he understands our fears, anxieties, when the pressure is on! This is why throughout the bible Jesus is heard repeatedly saying “Do not be afraid”!In the Book of Mathew, Jesus is found telling his disciples, the same men who walk and talk with him daily ,that ALL of them will turn their backs on him and even one of them would actually betray him! But, God does not stop there, he said after he has finished the Job in which he was sent to do,he would gather his sheep back and lead the way to Home! Jesus understood the loneliness of the cross, he understood that their will be times when we have to finish the work that was laid before us. But we will not have those close friends cheering us on or their support!

In those times we can know and trust that God has not abandon us, and never will forsake us, he will be our support, he will be our encourager. Jesus will be that Friend that sticks closer than a brother through every trail, and every ups and downs! He will make sure you finished the work that God has laid before you! So when the heat is on and everyone has turned their back on you; When you start living for Jesus and those who you thought where your friends start moving away from you. Know that there is One True and living God who always gather his sheep in his loving hands, who comforts those who are hurting and those have a broken heart! He is a God who is always there even when you feel you are lonely. God`s word tells us he will never leave us or forsake us!
So take comfort when you are going through a trail, knowing you have One Good Friend on your side, and His name is King Jesus a friend that can Move Mountains!

Confidence in the word

1 John 5:14
New King James Version (NKJV)
Confidence and Compassion in Prayer
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

What a Great and wonderful Joy it is to know that WHATEVER we ask of God he will do for us! The bible tells us according to his will God answers our prayers.

What is God`s will?
God’s will is his word? His word is what is written in the bible. To know how to pray God`s will you must first read your bible.

Example of praying the will of God:
You fall sick to an illness and you are praying for healing over your body. How do you know its God’s will to heal you?

Well, because the word said so! The bible tells us that by his stripes, you were healed, and the bible tells us he heals all diseases.
Note these verses
1 Peter 2:24
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whosestripes you were healed.
Psalm 103:3
Who forgives all your iniquities,Who heals all your diseases,

So when you began to pray over yourself, you would say in the name of Jesus, be healed completely, because by his stripes I am healed!
Another example:
You just got bad news, and everything is just going chaotic in your life!

Well, you would pray that all things work for the good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. You again prayed God’s will.
Note this verse Romans 8:28
Moreover, we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

When you begin to study the word of God, you will find that everything you need is right there in the bible. All you need to do is just to open up your mouth, pray the word of God and confess the word in faith over your Life!

This week I challenge you to dig deeper in the word of God for whatever your need is this week. Begin to take  scriptures and line it up with your needs and confess the word of God over those situations! Remember God`s word never fails!

Matthew 16:19
New King James Version (NKJV)
19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

If you have prayer requests please feel free to leave them in the comment section that I may pray with you. God bless Rashida

Pillar of Salt Syndrome

What in the world are looking you back for? Your past? What you could have should have done? Hurts?  Let me start with a story about Lot’s wife. For those that do not know this story or need just a little reminder, do you remember the woman who turns into a pillar of salt? Lot`s wife was a woman in the bible who turn into a pillar of salt, because she looked back at her past. Lot`s wife  was warned by angels, to not look back at the city  of Sodom and Gomorrah where  she  and her family had once dwelt. God had sent angels  to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Sodom and Gomorrah was a city ruled by sexual prevision and every other sin in the book.   Therefore, God sent two angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. But First God brought Lot and his family out of the city that their life might be saved.

Let us fast forward to Lot’s wife.  Now the angel of the Lord specifically warns lot’s family to not look back as the city while it was being destroyed. However, Lot’s wife chooses to look back and she herself was destroyed, for Lot’s wife was turned into a pillar of salt.
What past are you looking back at? What has you bound that you just cannot seem to move forward? If your looking back at your past, the things that God delivered your from, you can not move forward. No one can walk forward while still   looking back over his or her shoulder, unless you trip and fall.

Take this example, when my husband is driving our vehicle he has a habit of gazing on sites that are to his right or left, and   most often when he does this our SUV starts to rear off the road.   Then it is always followed by me screaming, “Look out, are you trying to kill us all“! (Laughing)  This is one reason why I do not like driving with my husband, he always trying to sight see while he is driving. My point is this, If your not focus  on what is happening now in your life, what you’re goals are, and your always looking back at your past.  You will most likely end up getting shipwreck, and stuck in the past. You will never be able to fully enjoy your life, because you are stuck in your past hurts, or what you could have done with your life.  The bible gives us an easy solution to solving the “Pillar salt Syndrome“
.
Let’s look at this verse from The Apostle Paul Philippians 3:13 states” Brethren I do count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind me and reaching forward to those things that are ahead“.
Paul says it so simple, he tells us to forget, and let go of the past! We cannot change our past mistakes, or our past circumstances, but we can change our future. By choosing to push forward and letting go of everything that has held us back ,we can begin to enjoy life. The bible goes on to say that if anyone that is IN CHRIST, he is a NEW creation; old things have passed away, behold all things have become New!
This means New Thinking, New Peace, New Joy, and New Hope that is found in Jesus. Once you have become saved, God has made you brand new in Him. Your entire past has been wiped away. So today, whatever you have been dwelling on from your pass just let it go! Stop tumble, falling, tripping on things of the past and allow God to rewrite your future in Him.

Heavenly Father, I receive your forgiveness of all things that I have done in the past. Jesus your word declares if we confess our sin you are ABLE and JUST to forgive me from ALL unrighteousness.(1 john 1:9) Lord I also choose this day to forgive all who have hurt me with, unkind words, abused me and mistreated me. I forgive them so I can be free. Your word tells me if I do not forgive I  myself will not be forgiven.( Mathew 6:15) So I choose Life and freedom in You. I trade my sorrow and pain, for your Joy, Laughter and Peace that surpasses all understand. I trade my past for a hope and a future that is found only in you. Help me Jesus to forgive and receive your forgiveness in Jesus name Amen.

The Good Shepherd

Last night as I lay their in my bed, I begin to think about things that needed to be done. I thought about bills that need to be paid, and things that needed my attention. Worries begin to set in; the more I thought on these things the more I became restless. Nevertheless, God who is so gentle, so loving, and so kind, begin to show me a vision of a shepherd. I saw a Shepherd who was more than eager and full of compassion tend to his sheep.
God is known as the Good Shepherd. Good Shepherds makes sure that their sheep are well fed and that no sickness and disease are attacking their sheep’s body. Those who own pets, or work on a farm can understand the care that is given to animals and the responsibilities of being an owner. In the bible, God illustrates this repeatedly on how he is The Good shepherd, that takes care of us.
Note these verses:
John 10:14 I am the good shepherd; and I know my sheep, and am known by my own.
John 10: 11 I am the good Shepherd. The Good shepherd gives His Life for the sheep

Mathew 7:11 If you then being Evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give Good things to those who ask of him!

God reminded me that he is loving shepherd that wants to take care of me. Heal our sickness and disease; supply our every need as we allow him.The bible tells us to cast every care upon him for He CARES for us. Moreover, a Good shepherd CARES for his sheep. After spending time talking to God last night, I had the most peaceful sleep because I know that God is watching over me, protecting me as a Good shepherd protects his sheep.

Depression

1.Proverbs 12:25
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.
This is a great reminder in Proverbs to not let the anxiety in your heart cause you to get depressed. when we choose to worry about day to day life routine such as bills, children, husband it causes the word of God to be choked out of us and then we become depressed. We no longer are focused on the will of God in are life but are circumstances.

This reminds me of Peter ,Peter could walk on water when the Lord command him as long as he had his eyes fixed on Jesus, but as soon as he took his eyes off the Lord and looked at his situation he began to sink. This is how life is, are children, a marriage that is going bad, bills, as long as we captivate are minds with these things we stay depressed and buried under a sea of anxieties(roaring waves) but when we fixed our eyes on a God who is more than able to bring us through and can even causes miracles in are life such as WALKING on water.  Then we allow Jesus to become are Author and finisher of are faith.   God is,more than able to bring us through the storms of are life. Take these times that may seem difficult to get into prayer or read the bible and let God word make you heart Glad . God word tell us that he will never leave you or forsake you ,will you step out the boat of depression and walk on water Today?God bless Rashida

Willing and Obedient

I just finished paying my tithes off of the fourteen dollars that I made while doing a few online surveys. I was very excited to give my first fruit of my labors in tithes to an Christian organization of my choosing; Because I am one of those Christian who expects and believes that God blesses those who tithes. After paying my tithes, I continue with my daily choirs in my home. As I was vacuuming, I heard God speak this verse into my spirit, Isaiah 1:19 if you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land.

Hmmm, I thought to myself. I am definitely willing and obedient to the word of God. I am willing to pay my tithes even in how little or how much it will be. I am willing to obey the word of God in every area of my life.
God has so many wonderful promises that people miss out on, because of two main reasons. One Lack of knowledge, by not studying the bible and learning what God offers to them and the second reason is just being disobedient. Tithing comes with a promise found in the books of Malachi, Proverbs and Luke.
Now I am one of those writers that hates to be long winded, but I feel these scriptures are a necessary to help build a foundation on Tithing. Note these few verses below .

Malachi 3:8-12 Do Not Rob God 8 “ Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘ In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “ If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 “ And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts; 12 And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the LORD of hosts. This first scripture is very clear and to the point. And I know there are those who will say but its in the old testament. Well, it is a promise from God, and God ALWAYS keeps his promises.

Proverbs 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

There are some Christians that do not agree with tithing, and to them I  will just say that your missing a great opportunity in surrendering every area of your life to God and walking in his blessings. For me it is a way that I show God that everything I have belongs to Him . I withhold nothing from Christ, not even my finances. God`s word always prevails and holds truth .The bible tells us his word goes forth and accomplish what God said it would do. In the end of the day, I can say I am willing and obedient to the word of God, Fully and not Partially.

The Choice is Yours

Well today, I had a talk with my oldest son. A conversation that probably never ends! As my son begins to get into his teenage years, I notice that his choice of friends were not  very good ones. As the years had gone by,  I became increasing concern about his choice of friends. It came to the point were I had to meet everyone of his friends and weed out those who came to do harm verses those who were truly a friend. As God had place his life in my hands to raise up in the Lord.(Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it)
As a Christian I now how important it is to choose your friends wisely, for bible is clear on this matter. The bible tells us that the wicked will lead us astray.( see Proverbs 1) As I prayed about what words to say to my son this morning, God gave me the scripture in Deuteronomy 30:19, choose Life or Death, Blessing or Cursing. I explain to my son that God gave us choices. We have the choice to either choose his blessing or choose a curse Life. Living a life of sin will only bring curses and destruction, but living a life for God brings the blessing of the Lord on us. note these verses

Proverbs 12:26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.Psalms 37:38 but the transgressor shall be destroy together; the fruit of the wicked shall be cut off.
Proverbs 1:8-9 My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother; 9 For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, and chains about your neck.
Those of my son`s friend who were sexual active, cursing and just were unruly children, quickly became his unfriends. If you hang around sin long enough you will fall right into its trap. In this life everything is a choice, from who we choose to hang out with, what we eat, what we wear, If we will be kind,or if we will be unkind. Everything in this life is a choice! This does not mean if we choose to do the right thing that life will just be one big happy place, but it does mean God will always help us out of things that arise.(Proverbs 15:29The LORD is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous)
In addition, by making Good choice we won’t always find ourselves in trouble. Bad choices make a huge impact on our life`s. At best, the greatest decision we can make as Christians, is to choose to follow Christ, choose whom we surround ourselves with and choose the blessing verse the curses. As this vese says it so well, Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

God`s healing Power

I thank God for healing my son Abraham, still to this day he has not had anymore ear infection.( Praise God) I remember it like it was yesterday the sadness I felt when the doctor told me he would need  tubes to be placed in my baby’s ears. I been praying and praying for God to heal him and I was so devastated to go back to the doctors and yet another ear infection! To others this seem like something so small and petty,  I know some people thought why not just go get the tubes placed in his ears, for it is a simple in and out surgery. But for me it was my baby, my precious gift from God and I could not imagine releasing him to the care of any physician to place tubes in his ears .The only person I would release Abraham to would be to God. I had to get pass my anxieties and put the word of God to work, for the bible tells us that faith without works is dead.  I reminded myself if God knew the numbers of hairs on my head , then my son issue was not petty or small. But God care for him and was more than willing to heal Abraham and I knew this because the word said SO! God has healed Abraham completely, God healed him from all diseases (Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases) for he is a God that cannot lie.                                                                                                     (2 Timothy 2:13If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.) I thank God for my mother who kept telling me just trust God. In our weakest moments, it is so good to have someone step in and pray for us, encourage us, and lift us back up in the word of God! Someone to encourage you through every trial. For God will turn what the enemy meant to destroy you into something good. God will use that trail to grow you stronger in Him, It is a lesson to be able to wait on the Lord and trust in him and not be shaken. I have seen God do countless awesome miracles in my life, and still I am always amazed when he moves! (James 1:2-4   My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing .

The End of the world

What a sad day for those few people who gave up their entire life`s to follow a false Prophet. If only they actually took the time to read their bibles, it would have save them so much heartache and pain . By Just simply searching the scriptures for themselves they would had found that the bible is specific and clear. The bible notes in this verse about the end of times, Matthew 24:36“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. The bible tells us that only God himself know when the rapture shall happen, not men or even the angels know the day or the hour of the end of times.

Christians all over the world can learn a lesson from this tragic event that has happen today. In which is to be in tune with God, pray about everything, and don`t place your confidence in a MAN;(Psalm 118:8It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man). But  we as Chistians should only place our confidence in God alone ,and test every spirit by the Spirit of God.(1 John 4:1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.) I pray that this will be an eye opener to those who choose to follow man and not build a relationship with God for themselves. A lesson to truly know God for themselves, for he is more than able to show himself to all who seek him!

Does what a Christian woman wear make her a better Christian?

I think by now after two posts you probably figured out I am not your typical Christian. I am one of those Jesus freaks, born again, and speaking in tongues believers who feels free in Christ. I also feel free enough to leave my two cents every now and than. So today I would like to talk about Christian clothing. Now I am a Christian woman who wears pants, skirts, makeup, and jewelry. I just can`t get into the overly modest Look! Okay don`t look at me as if I have grown three heads you know the Look I am talking about. No make-up, no Jewelry, and dresses that sweep the floor. This is just not a look for me and I do not really enjoy walking around hot, and cleaning up every store I enter with the bottom of my dress. Then again we have those who take the word modesty to the extreme , to them wearing a sleeve less shirt is showing to much. Now if a man gets turned on by a shoulder he has issues and needs psychological help. I have watch allot of women who feel that this is the way to dress to please God. Well if you feel closer to God than so be it. But what the scripture tells us that faith is the only thing that pleases God. Note this verse "Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." The bible goes on to talk about those who dress in fine apparel but their inside is filthy. " white wash tombs" Jesus called them. The bible tells us that God is more concern about your heart than how you dress. Note this verse 1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” Now don`t get me wrong as a woman their are things that are inappropriate for Christians. One example would be wearing a shirt that is way to small that your breasts are about to pop out your shirt and give you a black eye! If that is you, I seriously think you need to rethink what actual shirt size you wear. Also your skirt length should not show everyone in town what color your underwear is! If you can`t bend down or sit down without  sharing with the whole world, then your skirt is way to short. In the end use common sense when you dress, your clothing does not make you a better Christan, but the way you dress always makes an impression so dress yourself respectful.
1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Are you ashamed to be a Christian?

Are you ashamed to let others know that you are a Christian? Are you a under cover believer one that attends church on Sunday, and prays secretly? Are you one of those Christians who behave differently when you run into those who believe differently than you? Are you afraid to mention the ” c” word? Oh you know what word I am talking about “Christians”. Or when you go out to a nice restaurant with your friends and when its time to pray over your food, your pretending like something flew into your eyes as you eagerly rub your eyes and mumble under your breath? It seems like so many Christians are either ashamed or scared to say that they are a Christian. Afraid that no one would want to associate with those who choose to believe in a God that created the Universe, Earth and his greatest creation us. There are some many Christians who are afraid to defend their faith! But I don`t find that same embarrassment when I meet those who are Muslim, Hindu, atheist etc… As a Christian maybe we can learn a thing or two from those of other religions, they are NOT ashamed of their belief. Wrong or right they are declaring it for all to hear. Being a Christian is not a religion, but it is a belief, a belief in which all the world should see! The word of God tells us to let our light so shine that men shall see our good works and glorify the Father. The bible goes on and tell us to not hide our light under a basket, but to let it shine! Note this verse Luke 11:33 [ The Lamp of the Body ] “No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light.” Being a Christan also means to share the good news that Christ has came to save the world so if we hide, who will hear this message? Its time for Christians to come out of the closet , embrace their lifestyle and declare the good works of Jesus Christ. If not ,God himself tells us plainly, if you deny him he will also deny you! Christianity is not just our Belief but it is our Lifestyle

Frustrated?

Rush hour traffic, busy grocery stores, screaming kids, the chaos that impacts our life daily that can just get our nerves on the edge of a break down.  Have you every had one of those days were ever things seems to go wrong? One of those days where you just felt like loosing your cool if you had to stand in line at the grocery store one more extra minute ;As the lady with the  billion coupons sort through her  stash. I mean just sit back and think of a day that you just really had enough! In all that said you still kept your cool, kept your composure and behaved Christ like. Because even though your day  has gone so horrible, through it all you knew God was right there with you and he would not give you more than you can bare. You knew that if you made it through these tests that it would only make you stronger. In life there is always something that will go wrong. And as a Christians  the spotlight is shining brightly on us whenever the heat gets turned up. All eyes are watching us to see if we will still behave Christ like or act foolishly. Whatever happens in this life it can only make us stronger in Christ ! It can only increase  our faith as we over come each obstacle and keep our sanity. Remember this, that Roses are beautiful, but even Roses have thorns.  God`s words promises us in Psalms 23, that even though we walk through the valley of shadow of death, that God is with us! God is always there helping us through those moments of utter chaos. So the  next time you think of loosing your cool, remember God won`t give you more than you can bare!

No need to be anxious

In several places in the bible, God tells us that  we do not need to be consume with worries , or cares about anything that troubles the mind. For God will sustain us.  God also promises us that he will  keep us in his perfect peace  as our mind stays on him. Will you  pray this prayer today and allow God to saturate you with his peace?

Philippians 4:6-7
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Heavenly Father, I thank you that in you I have peace, Joy , and hope. Lord I do not have to be anxious about anything in my life because I am free to come to your throne of grace and cast every care upon you. I thank you that in return you are saturating my mind in your peace. I thank you for hearing my prayers and moving on my behalf in Jesus name Amen

 Isaiah 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You,Because he trusts in You.
1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Expecting A Miracle from God?

As a pregnant woman expects the birth of her child ;Or a child eagerly awaits the expectant day of their birthday, or a farmer is expecting his first harvest for the year. All have one thing in Common, they are expecting something Great! This is the story that takes place in the book of Acts chapter 3, here we see Peter and John walking towards the gate called Beautiful to attend daily prayers. As Peter and John walk pass the gate they see a cripple beggar who is sitting and begging for money. As they came across this man`s path, John and Peter stop and ask him to look upon them. The crippled man locks his gaze upon Peter and John, he was expecting to receive a gift. But this day would not be the same for this beggar, he did not know that this would be the day he would no longer have to sit and beg for money. No longer had to be ashamed ! Peter then under the anointing and power of God gives the cripple the greatest Gift that Jesus himself left for all who would dare to believe . Peter than said “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” The Cripple man immediately receives strength in his legs and raises up and walks. He is no longer crippled, but totally heal as he received an expectant gift. As Christians we need to go to God expecting a miracle and a break through in faith ! The bible in Hebrews 11:1NKJV, that faith is the evidence of things HOPE FOR (expected) and the evidence of thing not seen.
When you have faith you are expecting God to move in your situation, even when you can’t see it. You’re expecting God to move in faith for he is faithful to his word. You need healing in your body expected God to bring his word forth that he heals all disease! You have a need; expect God to meet your need, for his word tells us he supplies all your needs!! When you pray expected God to answer for 1 john 5:14 NKJV, tells us that he hears our prayers. When you get on your knees in prayers tonight expect to hear from God in Faith.

God`s Strength

I never would had understand how far God was bringing me and what lesson I was about to learn during the three years I spent on Cafemom. Lesson that Could only be taught by interacting with fellow Christians, sisters in Christ whom I now can say are dear friends to me. Through those time I have met many women who have been raped, abused, had abortions, husband walked out on them; Ladies who have had miscarriages after miscarriages and those who lost their children at birth or were taken from them. People who had children on drugs or they were recovering addicts. You see there are very few Christians who can say that their life has been a bed of roses for even roses themselves get attacked by diseases. I learn many thing from these women, that we are not alone in our life`s struggles . I have also learned what true Faith is , it is to stand up and trust God through every situation through the power of prayers. Throughout the bible we see great examples of men and women who were wrong and did nothing to deserve their circumstance . Joseph is one story that comes to mind; for he was sold into slavery, accused of attempted raped, unjustly imprison but Joseph stilled held his faith. Joseph knew the God he serve and knew that God would not only restore him but keep his vision ALIVE in his life. There comes a time when we go through things that are so difficult, a hurt that takes the very breathe from us. It`s like you are struggling to grasp a breath of air ,but your chest is so tight its difficult to breath or even speak. You lie there on the floor in tears, so weak ,wanting and desiring to Cry out to God saying”Help Me Please Father”. But you have no strength to push forward. I found that during these times is the time that God comes in and picks you up, He carries you through those difficult times, a time of healing for your souls. He carries you when your body is so weak with cancer , disease, depression, and hurt for he is so close to those with a broken heart. He is so faithful to carry you through it all. Showing you yes you CAN do all things through Christ who gives you strength. A strength that is given when you cast every care upon him. God desires to restore everything that the enemy has stolen from you just as He restored Job. If your going through a difficult time know that you are not alone. God is for you and you have sisters and brothers in Christ who will pray you through. For in THEIR TESTIMONIES how God delivered and carried them through let it be a testimony that nothing is impossible for God. Many of us can look back on our life and see how God brought us through. We should have been depressed, should had lost our minds, Should had died, But God Loved us so much he carried us through and NOW we can say WE ARE STRONG IN HIM! Through every situation God is THERE through every Struggle God is THERE and he will Always carry you through it ALL.
