Dusting Off our feet

The bible clearly states if they do not receive the message of the Cross to Dust off our feet and move to the next.(Mark 6:11And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!” )As Christians we always love to share the Gospel and their are times that people just don`t want to receive or  people just want to debate the word of God. God did not call believers to debate, bible thump, LOL or even push the bible on anyone! For it is written none come to God unless he draws their spirit to him they are freely to receive  Salvation through the grace of  Christ Jesus. If we find ourselves in a situation where it turns to a debate the best thing to do is to walk away for the bible is living breathing word of God it will always stand and it can defend itself. (Isaiah 40:8 8 The grass withers, the flower fades,    But the word of our God stands forever.”) The bible goes on to tell us that babbling of words, and argument only lead to offensive and can ruin the message of Christ for we are called to be peacemakers. So when you find yourself among those who reject the word of God, pray for them and and dust off your feet and move to those who are open to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ

2 Timothy 2:16-45 (New King James Version)

16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. 17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ[a] depart from iniquity.”
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
