Words of your Mouth, are they stopping your blessings?

our flesh may not like change but to grow in the fruits of spirit of God their most be change in our life. I would like to talk about Complaining, murmuring, Gossiping, these things we sometimes do can hinder us in our spiritual growth in Christ and should not be practice in our Life. Take a look at this verse;

James 3:9-159 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.

The greatest example on how our mouth can cause us to lose are blessing and even hinder are blessings is found in the bible story of the Hebrews who were led out of Egypt by Moses. They wondered in the wilderness for 40 years due to disobedience. The Hebrew refused to possess the land that God had command them to posses, a land flowing with milk and honey. Not only did God try to bless them with a good land but, all those years of traveling through the wilderness God had took care of the Hebrews. The Hebrew because of fear were constantly murmuring and complaining, and did not get to enter into the land that was promised to them but had to wonder the wilderness for forty years because they refused to trust God. Those years wandering through the wilderness they choose to murmur and complain even though God had fed them, clothe them and took great care of them. Instead of being humble and having a thankful heart unto God they choose to be complainers. Oh how they must have seem to be very ungrateful people, after all God delivered them safely out of pharaoh hands who had them bond in slavery for many years. But still the Hebrew chooses to complain as Moses attempted to bring them to the promise land. The Hebrews just could not look pass their circumstance and have a grateful heart towards God, who had brought them this far! Murmuring and complain eventually rob them of their blessings! If only they could had been true worshipers
The Word of God declares in Psalm 34:1 that we should bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. How can we blessed the lord at all time if every time things go wrong we are complaining, gossiping, just being disobedient

Do you want to get to the next level in God’s Glory? Do you want to walk in all that God has laid up for you in this life time? Then begin to renew your mind in God`s word and set your mouth on praises! In Romans 12:2  It says "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." also Ephesians 4:23 says "and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, thinking, are talk becomes praises, what is in the heart will come out of are mouth" The bible is full of scriptures to help us keep are mind and words of are mouth in praises to God. for Matthew 15:18 tells us that "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man." and Luke 6:45 tell us"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."

As Christians .when we are going through tough times, lets begin to PRAISE are way through it knowing God is able to bring us through. I am pretty sure you don’t want to be like the Hebrew children in the wilderness so close to the promise land but, for their lack of faith and constant complaining they never enter into his rest. Complaining and murmuring has caused many Christians to miss their blessing, forfeit the promises that belong to them by speaking doubt, complaining and unbelief . Let changes what words come out of our mouth. No more talk of defeat, Praise God through the good and the bad. Yes he is faithful to always bring you through each trail, the next time you feel the urge to open your mouth up and complain, or doubt ,remember this verse to help you stand firm in the Lord

James 1:2-10

Profiting from Trials
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
