Esther 4:16“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”
Can you imagine being in Queen Ester’s shoes, ask to Go before a king who could easily command you to be put to death for going against the law that stated you must be first summoned by the king to stand in his presence. What Faith she must of have to be able to say I will do the will of God ,even to the point of DEATH. God’s will must come first! Faith like queen Ester is much desired, A faith that tell us that the will of God in our life is more important then our own will. As Jesus put it "not my will but thy will be done." Queen Ester great faith in God has been seen throughout women and men in the Bible .Abraham had faith that God would provide a sacrifice if he so choose as he brought his only son ,his promise to God at the alter. Noah had faith in God to build an enormous boat when rain had never fallen from the sky before! Daniel had faith that God would keep him safe as he was thrown into the lions` den. It is a faith in God that he is a God who keeps his promises and whatever he ask us to do even though we may no comprehend it, his wisdom is far greater than ours! What has God promise you? What have you not stood up in faith to believe because it seems impossible for it to be brought to pass? We serve a God who is more than able to direct our footsteps when we decided to step out in faith and trust that his wisdom is far greater than what we can ever comprehend.
