911 MEMORIAL

The digits 911 today have become synonymous with duplicity, suspicion, fear and hatred. The events which transpired on September 11, 2011 were scheduled to have provided a platform to honor the lives that were lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The media circus of confusion over a Koran book burning event and the staged protests of a planned cultural center detracted from the solemnity and closure such memorial services are designed to offer the grieving families and friends of the deceased.
