There are some Christians who do not believe in Healing for us Christians of today. There is a false teaching that healing was for only the time of Christ being on the Earth. I want you to take note of these scriptures to help us all understand that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Healing did not stop because Jesus ascend in heaven with the father but has Just truly begin for those who Believe!
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;[a]
23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Jesus himself command those who believe to lay hands on the sick and he specifically says and they shall recover. I find it great Joy and peace to know that God still heals according to our Faith in Him. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Mark 16:15-18 +15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Here you see that God tells us that those who believe in Christ Jesus shall lay hands on the sick and the shall recover! Their is nothing to hard for Jesus .
Not only has God given us believers his Holy spirit to dwell within us but through the power of God that is in us, his healing virtue is manifested! Jesus at the cross took are sins, sickness, and everything that had us bond and destine to hell upon his body. We have been set free from Sin and sickness . All we have to do is receive it in Faith.
1 Peter 2:22-24
22 “ Who committed no sin,Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;[a]
23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
