Chapter Five of Expecting a Miracle by Oral Roberts

Since I found this book at the thrift store for 50 cents, I have truly been captivated by the Life of Oral Roberts and his healing Ministry. In chapter five O)ral talks about his meeting and marriage with his wife Evelyn. It is a spectacular and extraordinary Love story how two people could meet and get married to one another in such a short amount of time. It had to be God that brought them together! In our day and time this is one major flaw that is missing in Christian men and women, they don’t wait to hear from God to whom they should marry. I guess this could be one reason why divorce rates are so high in Christian homes, because we refuse to allow God to direct are path in every area of our Life. I see that Oral had a heart that leaned on God completely even for such an important matter of finding a spouse. If God bless Adam with Eve, I believe he can bless us with are mates also.

My mom said something to me about a Dream I had the other day which became a confirmation tonight, She said I was getting distracted from the Calling God has on my Life. From my child being sick, husband, Just day to day life storms can cause you to become like Peter who walked on water.
 When I took my eyes off of Jesus and put them on the cares of this world I being to sink, But as Long as I kept my eyes on my AUTHOR and FINSHER of my FAITH  I could walk on water for I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I begin to study the book written By a great man of God Oral, as I study his Life and hunger and thrist after God and wanted  More of that close relationship that Oral Roberts had with Jesus, I wanted to learn from him as Paul said imitate me , (the Christ in Him) I wanted to imitate the Christ in Him. Things started to pop up to distract me. But DEVIL you are already defeated. My eyes are staying on Jesus for HE CAN ALWAYS bring me through!I TRULY HUNGER FOR THE THINGS OF GOD AND WILL PASS EVERY TEST AND COUNT THEM ALL JOY FOR MY FAITH CAN ONLY INCREASE!!!

Chapter four of Expecting a Miracle

I I have now finished reading chapter four of Expecting a Miracle by Oral Roberts; with five kids it can get a bit hectic to find time to settle down and read a book. Back to the book, this was a chapter of boldness and Authority of praying God’s word. In this chapter Oral is still on his death bed with TB, BUT Oral is about to see the power of God manifest through his healing. Oral sister deliver a word from God to him as he lies their thinking he way going to die she said” Oral God is going to heal you". These were the encouraging words from his sister that gave him hope in Christ that cause him to surrender his life back over to Jesus. What I learn from this chapter is to stand firm and bold on God’s word. If his word said that by his stripes we were healed than that means healing belongs to us. It taught me how to truly step out in faith in my prayers to be bold in Christ and believe God to heal the sick, and to lay hands on the sick and stand on God word that they shall recover. (Expecting God to do his part) No longer will aspect anyone saying if it God will I will be heal, because I know for a fact God word tell us Yes healing belongs to us. HAVE FAITH! It might not be right then, but it will happen as I stand in faith because God never ever goes back on his word. IT’S THE TRUTH!
