"The Best Testimony is No Testimony"
I have came across this Phrase several times in the past Year. This phrase is always associated with a speech that it is Great that God delivers people from much such as alcohol, drugs, abuse, captivity, etc but the best Testimony is no Testimony at all. I found this Phrase was unscriptural to say the best testimony is no Testimony. For our Life itself is the greatest Testimony of God Love for us. That knowing as we were in Sin and in need of a savior Christ Died for us. Lets look at this verse.
1 John 5:11This is the testimony in essence: God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life.
Our greatest testimony in Life is that we needed a savior, as all have sin and through the blood of Jesus we find redemption for our Sins. So even if you have never been hooked on drugs, abused, neglected , or suffered lost. Your greatest testimony is receiving Christ Jesus in Faith. Your faith in Christ is the testimony on how much God loved you to lay his life down for you. You are no longer Destin to eternity in Hell ,but Now engrafted into His Kingdom by the blood shed on Calvary. I believe each one of our testimonies sheds lights on the glory and power of God. Throughout the bible there are many testimonies of the power of God in the Life’s of men and women of the bible . Moses testimony would be how God sets the Hebrews free and delivered them safely from the hands of Pharaoh, and also as a child Moses Life was spared as Pharaoh order all male children born of Hebrew women to be Killed. Abraham Testimony is how God gave him his promise child when his wife Sarah was at an age when she should had been no longer be able to Conceive. Ester Testimony is how God used her to speak to the King and spare the Jewish people Life. Jesus entire Life was a walking Testimony on God’s power as he perform miracles such as healing the sick, deaf, mute, blind, raise the dead , turn water into wine, and he himself rose from the dead . Christ testified in the True power of God. Are Life style is a testimony of who Christ is to those who need a savior. As you go through your day to day life and may not have many struggles arise don’t ever think you don’t have a testimony to share, for your salvation is a Great testimony to share with others. As Christians we should testify how we came to accept Jesus into our heart as Lord and savior for his blood shed is The Greatest Testimony of God`s love for us.
